The Eurotunnel under the English Channel has been closed due to the decision of the French government to close the borders. Belgium also closed borders at least for 24 hours.
According to the German outlet, the EU will follow this path and close all passenger connections to and from the UK, including the maritime and railway routes. It means that all seaports will be closed for the British vessels, too.
Flights from the Republic of South Africa will be put on hold as well; a new strain of coronavirus is observed there, too.
