The Estonian government boosted quarantine measures in this country due to the spread of coronavirus. New restrcitions took effect on Monday, November 16.
According to Delfi, visitors of shops and malls can only walk in pairs, keeping the distance of two meters from other people. The restrictions do not concern families, staff and public service venues - drug stores, banks, beauty salons etc.
Restaurants, cinema theaters, night clubs can host groups up to ten people. The distance must be kept within the range of two meters; however, if people are staying inside the cinema or theatre hall, the restriction is lifted.
All restaurants and entertainment facilities are closed from midnight till 6 a.m.; only takeaways are allowed.
According to Worldometers, Estonia comes 124th in the world in terms of detected cases of Covid-19. 7,637 cases of Covid-19 have been registered in this country since the pandemic began; 81 people died.
