The satellite images have detected a significant decreases in nitrogen dioxide over China.

The satellite images published by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) show that the pollution level of the air over China reduced after the coronavirus outbreak as BBC reported.

It is noted that due to Covid-19 outbreak, the production at many plants was stopped in order to avoid the virus.

The images show that in 20202 the level of nitrogen dioxide over China is hardly visible. The nitrogen dioxide is a reddish-brown gas released by cars, power plants and industrial facilities.

According to NASA, firstly, the depletion of this poison gas in the atmosphere was spotted near Wuhan, the epicenter of Covid-19 spread.

As we reported, the WHO doubts that temperature screening of the passengers at the entrance to the country for the prevention of coronavirus is quite an efficient measure.
