An employee of the State Guard of Ukraine shot himself in the building of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Kyiv. Interfax-Ukraine reported this quoting a source in the law enforcement agency.
"According to preliminary information, the Office of State Protection employee shot himself from a service weapon," the agency’s source said.
The interlocutor noted that the State Bureau of Investigation will investigate the circumstances of the incident.
As we reported, on Tuesday, January 14, a passenger car crashed into a truck near the Polish town of Kołbiel, killing four people, two of them were Ukrainians.
Police officer Daniel Nizdropa confirmed the death of all passengers. He also reported that the truck driver remained unharmed and had been sober at the time of the accident. The chairman of Yaroslavichi United Territorial Community, in the commentary for Rivne Vecherne, confirmed that the killed Ukrainians were brothers and came from the village Velyka Horodnytsia of Mlynivskyi district, Rivne region.
