Embassy confirms Ukrainians citizenship of workers suffered in Prague

The Embassy of Ukraine to the Czech Republic has confirmed that the citizens of Ukraine suffered during the collapse of the house in Prague as Radio Liberty reported.

“We confirm that they are the citizens of Ukraine, two of them are still in the hospital, and one of them is already discharged. One of the citizens was wounded with moderate injuries, the second citizen, according to the doctors is in more severe condition. I visited each of them, we stay in contact with them and their families,” First Secretary of the Embassy Valery Borisov said.

He also noted that the workers of the embassy plan to meet the representatives of Metroslav Company that held the repair works in the collapsed building.

The reasons of the collapse are studied by the police.

Adriana Krnacova, the Mayor of Prague reported that it is necessary to check not only the work of the designers but also the workers of the National Institute on Preservation of Architectural Monuments who could present non-standard demands to the builders.

As we reported three Ukrainians appeared under debris in Prague as a result of a house collapse. It was noted that there are two Khust and one Vynogradiv residents among the injured.
