Ukrainian women who participated in a naked photoshoot in Dubai were deported home after ten days in local prison. The girls returned to Ukraine as RBK-Ukraine reported citing Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Oleh Nykolenko.
“On the evening April 12, the UAE authorities deported eleven citizens of Ukraine who were earlier detained for participation in a naked photoshoot,” he reported.
It is noted that the Ukrainians received minimal punishment.
“Besides the deportation, they faced a large fine and imprisonment for six months,” Nykolenko said.
It is noted that not all partakers of the incident returned to Ukraine. One of the girls stays in UAE as she got infected with Covid-19. Besides, the organizer of the event did not return.
As it was reported earlier, Dubai police arrested “a group of people who appeared in an indecent video” on charges of public debauchery. 40 people were detained for shooting a video in which naked girls are standing on the balcony of one of the city's skyscrapers. Among the detainees are 11 Ukrainian women.
