The first round of Presidential Elections was held today, March 31, 2019, in Ukraine. The polling stations were open from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m. Now the vote count begins.
The Central Election Committee should sum up the results before April 10 inc. The results of the first round should be made public not later than April 13 in Holos Ukrainy, parliamentary newspaper, and Uriadovy Kurier, the official outlet of the Ukrainian Cabinet. The details on the second round of presidential elections in case none of the candidates gets 50% of votes should also be specified in the publication.
The date of the presumptive second round is April 21, 2019.
Then, the Central election committee should sum up the results of the second round before May 1 inc. and publish them officially in official outlets before May 4.
Before June 3 the president-elect should be inaugurated during the ceremonial meeting of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada.
