Eight people died in terrible car accident in Mykolaiv region

Opel and Mazda collided in Kazanka urban type settlement in Mykolaiv region on January 1, at about 11 a.m. As a result of it, eight people died, two more injured, reports the press office of the National Police in the region. 

There was a spouse in the Mazda. The man died at the scene, his wife was hospitalized with numerous injuries. 

‘According to the preliminary information, a family with kids from Kozanaka region were in the Opel. Senseless e eightyish girl was delivered to a hospital. The rest passengers of the car deceased. The total number of casualties and their age is being established,’ the law enforcers claimed.

As we reported, on December 24, as a result of the car accident near Denyshi village, Zhytomyr region, one man died, and seven more sustained injuries; the press office of the National Police in Zhytomyr region reported that.  

‘The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on the 21st kilometer of the highway near Denyshi village. The investigation established that the driver of the Opel Astra, 41-year-old resident of Kyiv, drove on oncoming traffic line and crashed into the VAZ 2104 steered by the 26-year-old resident of Zhytomyr,’ reads the message.
