At the end of July, American engineer and entrepreneur, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk wrote on Twitter that the pyramids were built by aliens. His post was noticed by Egypt’s authorities and Tourism Minister Rania Al-Mashat responded to Musk on Twitter, writing that she follows his work with admiration and invites him to visit Egypt to consider the writings about the building of the pyramids.
“I invite you and Space X to explore the writings about how the pyramids were built and also to check out the tombs of the pyramid builders. Mr. Musk, we are waiting for you,” Rania Al-Mashat wrote, underlining that aliens have nothing to do with the building of Egyptian pyramids.
The Egyptian pyramids are located in Egypt. As of November 2008, sources cite either 118 or 138 as the number of identified Egyptian pyramids. Most were built as tombs for the country's pharaohs and their consorts. The most famous Egyptian pyramids are those found at Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo.
As we reported, the Crew Dragon (Endeavor) spacecraft with NASA astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken undocked from the ISS as part of the Demo-2 mission and began returning to Earth on August 2, 2020.
