Egypt’s Air Force attacked locations of terrorist camps in the Libyan city of Derna. The strike was a retaliation for militants’ attack in Minya, which killed 26 Coptic Cristians, according to Al Arabiya.

“Egypt will not hesitate at all to strike terrorist camps anywhere, whether it is inside or outside the country," president said during the TV address.

Egyptian leader also appealed to US President Trump, hoping that the latter will be able to keep promise and “prioritize” crushing terrorism.

The state of emergency was implemented in Egypt in April after a series of deadly attacks by ISIS on Christian places.
