The dust storm that hovered over Kyiv on Thursday already caused a few incidents; in the evening, it took down the scaffolding on Podilsky bridge in Kyiv. The constructions were to be used for painting the arch of the bridge.
The incident resulted in no casualties; Kyiv city hall reports that the workers are already fixing the problem.
According to 112.ua correspondent, social networks users claim that the scaffoldings fell on the bridge and then fell in Dnipro river. At the time it occurred, boats were passying by. "However, the city hall says there were no victims", the reporter said. "The constructions were set three days ago, and people assume they were set in a poor manner".
The dust storm hit the Ukrainian capital and Kyiv region on April 16.
Earlier, the dust storm in Kyiv region led to a road accident. Six cars, including four vans and two light-duty vehicles crashed on the roadway that links Kyiv, Kovel and Yahodyn. The accident resulted in human casualties. The press office of Patrol Police of Ukraine reported that on Thursday afternoon.
The clash took place on the M-07 roadway, 55 km away from the capital city. There are deceased and wounded people in the accident. The road traffic is shut down in both ways.
"We ask all those participating in the road traffic to be as much careful as possible. If there's a chance you can delay the scheduled ride - do so. If you're on the road, stop and wait for the weather to clear. Pedestrians, do not go outside if there's no necessity in it", the press office reported.
