Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram, wrote on Twitter that the European users of the messenger may have problems with the app.
Massive overheating in one of the Telegram server clusters may cause some connection issues for European users within the next couple of hours. Apologies for the inconvenience – the problem is being solved.

As to Downdetector server, which monitors the work of Internet resources, as at 3:40 Kyiv time most of the disruptions were recorded in Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Ukraine in Kyiv region.
In Russia, where the authorities are trying to block Derov’s messenger, mass troubles are noticed only in Moscow and St. Petersburg regions.
