In the Zhytomyr region near the gas station, local residents staged a protest rally during which a Volkswagen Transporter driver shot down a man. The press service of the police of the Zhytomyr region reports.

At the wheel of the car was a 36-year-old resident of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region. The driver was detained and taken to the department, where they checked for alcohol.

"The victim, a 39-year-old Zhytomyr, previously received bodily injuries in the form of a closed head injury, concussion and bruises. He received medical assistance without hospitalization," - the report said.

On this fact, law enforcement authorities opened criminal proceedings under the article "Hooliganism." The detainee faces a fine or restriction of liberty for up to three years.
