Driver shot at in Dnipro region for his refusal to answer to ‘Glory to Ukraine!’

Two people were shot at in Kamianske village. The member of Diya political party and a personal bodyguard of Dmytro Yarosh is suspected of using the weapon. This was reported by the local agency Podiya. The incident happened on Medychna street.

“The taxi driver refused to answer to the passengers’ greeting ‘Glory to Ukraine!’ They provoked a strong reaction and they decided to demand an answer using force. According to witnesses, two passengers attacked the driver from behind ... during the quarrel the passengers started beating the taxi car. One of them shot both legs taxi driver,” the report says.

At the moment, the victims are in the hospital. The two parties to the conflict were detained on the spot, another managed to escape.

At the same time the leader of Right Sector of Kamianske Ascold Mozhenko published a statement in Facebook in which he named one of the suspects and said that the latter was not a member of Right Sector, but was a member of the party State Yarosh Initiative (Diya) and a personal bodyguard of Dmytro Yarosh.

“We don’t know the reason and circumstances of the conflict..We think that Yarosh and party authorities have to look into the situation and publish the results of their own investigation,” Mozhenko added.

At the moment there are no comments from the Diya party and Dmytro Yarosh.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian serviceman shot his fellow officer in one of military units, according to the ATO HQ. According to preliminary data, the incident occurred due to reckless handling of weaponry.
