Ukraine’s Ambassador in Rome Yevhen Perelyhin stated that dozens of Ukrainians stay in forced quarantine or in hospital of intensive care in Italy, as Ukrinform reported.

“Informally I know but I cannot spread this data; there are dozens of Ukrainians who stay in forced quarantine or in the hospital of intensive care. But names, gender, age might be passed to the embassy only if the relatives ask about it. Then we involve if the help is needed,” he said.

According to the diplomat, one Ukrainian recovered after the therapy, four people died.

“The relatives appealed to us and we work on the transfer of remains,” Perelyhin said.

In Italy, at least 132,547 people infected with coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic. 22,837 people recovered; 16,523 people died.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in Ukraine has increased to 1,462 cases. Ukraine observed 45 deaths, 28 patients successfully recovered. Over the last 24 hours, 143 new cases have been recorded.
