The Canadian government and authoritative bodies look into the audio tape, which possibly features the voice of Iranian Foreign Minister who comments on the flight PS752 tragedy. The man identified by secret sources as Mohammad Javad Zarif looks into the opportunity of intentional destruction of Ukrainian Boeing, CBC News reports.

"(...) there are a "thousand possibilities" to explain the downing of the jet, including a deliberate attack involving two or three "infiltrators" — a scenario he said was "not at all unlikely," reads the article, citing the man who could possibly be Zarif.

According to the man on the tape, the top ranks of the government and the Armed Forces of Iran are not likely to disclose the truth about the tragedy - ever.

"There are reasons that they will never be revealed. They won't tell us, nor anyone else, because if they do it will open some doors into the defence systems of the country that will not be in the interest of the nation to publicly say," he said.

The tragedy occurred on the night of January 8, 2020. The passenger plane that belonged to Ukraine's International Airlines, flight PS752 was shot down not far from the international airport of Tehran. 176 people lost their lives. No one survived the crash.

On January 11, the HQ of Iranian Armed Forces claimed that the Ukrainian aircraft was downed by the anti-aircraft missile. It was fired by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. French specialists who examined the black box from the wrecked aircraft concluded that the disaster took place because of a missile attack.
