'Donbas' movie nominated for Kinokolo film award in four categories

Donbas, the motion picture by Ukrainian filmmaker Serhiy Loznytsia was nominated for Kinokolo film award in four categories. The film is the nominee as 'Best Film' and 'Best Director's Work', and also features in two actor-related categories. 

Another war drama, Cyborgs, directed by Ahtem Seitablaev got nominated in three categories. 

The awards ceremony is slated for October 26, during the opening of Kyiv Critics' Week film festival. 

Kinokolo film award was founded in 2018; it is awarded as based on the evaluation of the jury that consists of Ukraine's professional cinema experts. 

The nominees are the films made in Ukraine and showed in this country over the period from October 2017 till September 2018.
