The Donbas battalion revealed the details of the announced to pro-Russian militants ultimatum demanding the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war. In particular, the veteran Evgen Shevchenko in the air of "112 Ukraine" reported on the plan to block not only the roads but also railways.

"The mechanism is very simple, we already have experience on this subject, when in December 2014, we also partially blocked the roads and humanitarian convoys. We had a demand for the immediate liberation of our volunteers of "Donbas" battalion, who were in captivity since Ilovaysk battle.
