Laboratory studies of samples of six hospitalized Ukrainians in the city of Apostolove (Dnipropetrovsk region) did not confirm the diagnosis of coronavirus (Covid-2019). This was reported by a representative of Kryvyi Rih Infectious Diseases Hospital №1, Ukranews reports.
As it became known, on February 26, a man came from Italy to Ukraine. Thereafter, he, his pregnant wife, three children and his mother became ill with acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI).
After the diagnosis was made, it was decided to carry out laboratory tests on the family. The samples were transferred to the Public Health Center in Kyiv.
As we reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved the list of measures that have to be taken in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Ukraine.
A three-week quarantine will be introduced in educational institutions. The Ukrainian government also suggested imposing restrictions on holding mass events that involve 200 or more people. It will be eligible to hold sports events with the permission of international organizations, but without spectators.
