Vyshyvanka Run

The former director of ‘Khlibny Dar Russia’ Serhiy Velychko tries to illegally take over the Ukrainian patriotic sports event Vyshyvanka Run. His confidant applied for registration of the trade mark. A famous Ukrainian Olympian and the best marathon runner of Europe 2007 Oleksandr Kuzin wrote this in an open appeal to the owner of the Bayadera Company Svyatoslav Nechytailo on Facebook, as Ukrainian News reported.

Kuzin reminded that Vyshyvanka Run has been held since 2014. According to the sportsman, the subordinate of Sviatoslav Nechytailo, Serhiy Velychko impedes the holding the event.

‘This person wants to illegally take over the event and officially register the rights on Vyshyvanka Run on his girlfriend Olha Tretyakova. Despite the fact that the center of his vital interests is in Russia, he shows interest in the event that unites the Ukrainians all over the world. At the same time, Velychko cynically threatens me and it was recorded. I am not a businessman. I dedicated my whole life to sports and defending the honor of our country at the international competitions. Therefore, I hardly understand how it is possible. I think that it is disgusting and immoral’, he wrote.

However, the organizers of the event found out the fact of plagiarism from one of the run organizations of Kyiv. The representatives of this organization also prepare for their own marathon; it will take place on the same day and time but in Pyrohiv.

The criminal case against the organizers of the alternative race was opened. Kuzin believes that the intervention of Nechytailo could solve the conflict.
