Diplomats are working on settling in hotels and returning Ukrainian tourists from Greece due to the suspension of the Greek travel company Mouzenidis Travel. The press service of the Foreign Ministry reported this.
"The Embassy in Athens and the Consulate of Ukraine in Thessaloniki together with the State Agency for Tourism Development and Ukrainian tour operators are working to resolve the difficulties with settling in hotels and returning our tourists to their homeland," the statement said.
It is noted that there will be flights on the routes Thessaloniki-Kyiv, Thessaloniki-Lviv and Heraklion-Kyiv on June 25-26, which will allow more than 500 of our citizens to return to Ukraine.
As it was reported, on June 23, Greek travel company Mouzenidis Travel has suspended services to foreign tourists, including Ukrainians. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has opened a 24-hour hotline (+306907962985) in Thessaloniki to provide assistance to Ukrainian tourists who have arrived in Greece but cannot use the ordered services of the company.
