Aleksey Tamrazov ex-Deputy Chairman of the Board Ukrgasvydobuvannya suspected of the attempt to bribe the prosecutor with 200,000 dollars was released from the remand prison on Monday. Ukrainian News reported this with a reference to his lawyer Mykola Orikhovskyi.
‘Yes, he is yet released,’ the lawyer said.
According to him, the ex-Deputy was released on Monday after the confirmation of standing the bail. His friends posted bail for him. However, the lawyer refused to voice the names of the friends.
Reportedly, as Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, claimed on August 9, Aleksey Tamrazov ex-Deputy Chairman of the Board Ukrgasvydobuvannya attempted to bribe the prosecutor with $200 thousand. It was reported that it is about the criminal proceeding opened yet in October 2014. The pre-trial investigation established that the officials of Ukrgasvydobuvannya and two other firms created a scheme of the embezzlement of funds from the sale of the natural gas.
On August 10, Tamrazov was taken into custody with the right of the bail of $110 thousand.
