Deputy Head of National Police Vadym Troyan resigned and was dismissed by the Interior Minister as Ukrainian News reported citing the declaration of the official.

Troyan filed a declaration on September 28.

The National Police has not specified how long ago Troyan resigned; however, it noted that he wrote a letter of resignation of his own free will.

At the same time, it is noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already dismissed Troyan, since his name is not among the leadership of the National Police on the department's website.

The Interior Ministry appointed Troyan as Deputy Head of the National Police on September 26, 2019.

With the outbreak of hostilities in eastern Ukraine, Vadym Troyan participated in the ATO as a volunteer. He acted as the organizer of the creation of the "Azov" battalion.

From May to September 2014 - deputy commander of the Azov battalion at the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Ukraine in the Kyiv region.

As we reported, Mayor of Zaporizhia Volodymyr Buryak has resigned. The powers of the mayor were entrusted to the secretary of the city council, Anatoly Kurtev.
