Denmark has temporarily stopped the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine after some patients started to have blood clots, as BBC News reported.

However, it is unknown whether or not it is a side effect of the vaccine.

The Danish health authority announced the stop of the use of the vaccine on March 11.

A week ago, Denmark lifted the age restriction for the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine as many European countries did after new data.

In Ukraine, as of March 11, 29,378 people got vaccinated from coronavirus infection. During the past 24 hours, 5,898 Ukrainian got a shot.

Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal claimed that the third wave of coronavirus pandemic began in Ukraine. He stated that the medical system in Ukraine is ready for the third wave of coronavirus pandemic. Shmygal also called on local authorities to observe discipline and take a responsible approach to organize anti-epidemic measures.
