Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova said that she does not believe the statements of the Russian ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova on satisfactory state of health of the convicted illegally in Russia Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov. In particular, she stated this on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"I know nothing from Moskalkova. I tried to stop the car and ask them why the Ukrainian Commissioner for Human Rights in accordance with the agreements that have taken place between the two Presidents, is not allowed into the territory? Why not give me access to Oleg Sentsov? There was no answer. I stopped the car, but in the end the police pushed me so that I did not ask such questions, and did not prevent the procession to move.
When I asked the prison staff about Sentsov's health, they said that this is the work for the press service of the colony. I don't believe in what Moskalkova wrote. Her cortege passed by me when I stood on the road to somehow understand what was happening, she did not take the phone, answered nothing, so today I do not believe in any Moskalkova's statements, "she said.

Asked by journalists about their further actions, Denisova answered: "Let's live today and then we will make plans."

The Ukrainian ombudsman still hopes that the deputy head of the colony, who is now at his workplace, will come to her. "I want to give him an official statement, which I already try to submit from 9:00 in the morning, but no one comes to me," she summed up.
Earlier Tatyana Moskalkova, Russian Commissioner for Human Rights, said health condition of Oleg Sentsov who is kept in Russian ail is generally satisfying, but there are still some concerns due to his hunger strike.
“I had a meeting with Sentsov, which was quite long, it lasted for an hour. His health condition is generally satisfying, still there are some concerns as it is the 46th day of the hunger strike and it always requires a lot of attention,” she noted.

At the same time, the Russian Ombudsman added that Sentsov is being medically examined daily. The local medical worker checked his condition today in the morning.

“He did not express any remarks or requests in terms of his health condition or the incarceration conditions,” Moskalkova stressed.

It should be noted that the Russian and Ukrainian Ombudsmen arrived in the remand prison where Sentsov is kept, simultaneously. Yet, Lyudmyla Denisova came there earlier than her Russian colleague, but she was not allowed to visit Sentsov.
