Krysin was among those who attacked Vesti newspaper's journalist Vyacheslav Veremiy during the Revolution of Dignity in 2014. One of the attackers shot Veremiy in the stomach, which led to his death.

Earlier, someone threw green dye over Yuriy Krysin in the Heart Center on February 26. It was noted that Krysin, taking a bed in the children’s wing in the center, tried to hide from prosecution as the Court of Appeal session on Veremiy’s murder was expected soon.
