“The court accepted 60 days of night house arrest for another person involved in the mass unrest. The court did not satisfy the second petition for choosing a preventive measure, which was submitted for consideration today,” Trakalo said.

Criminal proceedings are open under Art. 294 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Mass riots"). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a period of five to eight years if the unrest did not lead to the death or serious injury of people.

In addition, Yaroslav Trakalo explained that a man, who was not arrested, remains in the suspect status, but without a preventive measure. The location of another suspect is now being established.
