The case on the deadly car accident when a Hummer driver ran over a girl in Kyiv was passed to the court as the Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv reported.
“The Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv approved and filed the indictment against a driver of Hummer suspected in the commitment of the fatal car accident at Lesya Ukrayinka Boulevard to Pechersk district court,” the message said.
As we reported, Hummer vehicle ran over a girl, which resulted in her death in the ambulance car on the evening of July 24. He flew the scene after the run over but was detained.
The driver of the car is already served charges due to the violation of traffic rules. Now, the suspect is at the detention facility.
The court arrested 23-year-old Kyrylo Ostrovsky, the entrepreneur and the careless driver, who recently mowed down a girl in the downtown Kyiv on July 26. Earlier he pleaded guilty.
Also, the biological samples were forcibly taken from Ostrovsky. On July 30, the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv permitted to forcibly take the biological samples of the suspect in the road accident that caused the death of a girl.
