Rally under the name Day of resistance to Russian occupation of Crimea took place in Kyiv at Heaven's Hundred alley this morning. It is reported by 112 Ukraine correspondent.

"On Heaven's Hundred avenue, near the Maidan, opposite to the hotel Ukraine, people gathered with Crimean Tatar flags and Ukrainian symbolics. They marched along the Kyiv streets in the capital's center. Participants of the rally say that the purpose of the march is - to say "no" to Russian occupation," says the correspondent.

Spiritual and political leaders of the Crimean Tatar people, social activists spoke in front of gathered people. Speakers recalled the events of three years ago in Crimea, raised the issue of political repression in the occupied peninsula and other problems that arose after the Russian annexation of Crimea.
