Daily growth rate of vaccinated people in Ukraine significantly increases

In 24 hours, over 70,000 people were vaccinated against coronavirus

70,469 people got the first dose of the vaccine against coronavirus in Ukraine during the past 24 hours as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 629,182 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, only 10 people finished the immunization (i.e., received two doses).

The number of vaccinations in 24 hours in the regions is the next:

Kyiv – 7,736; Vinnytsia region – 4,015; Volyn region – 1,467; Dnipropetrovsk region – 5,791; Donetsk region – 1,171; Zhytomyr region – 2,273 Zakarpattia region – 1,080; Zaporizhia region – 1,049; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 916; Kyiv region – 5,685; Kyrovohrad region – 1,466; Luhansk region – 539; Lviv region – 3,889; Mykolaiv region – 2,281; Odesa region – 2,683; Poltava region – 5,640; Rivne region – 1,713; Sumy region – 2,435; Ternopil region – 1,755; Kharkiv region – 6,234; Kherson region – 2,930; Khmelnytsk region – 1,128; Cherkasy region – 3,141; Chernivtsi region – 909; Chernihiv region – 1,993.

As of April 28, 2021, 501,690 people entered the waiting list for vaccination against Covid-19.

As we reported, 11,627 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine in 24 hours. 387 patients died. Since the beginning of the pandemic: 2,059,465 people got infected; 1,635,333 (+18,442 in 24 hours) patients recovered; 43,778 lethal cases reported.
