The Czech Republic changes entrance rules for foreigners, including the citizens of Ukraine. The new rules will start to act from Friday, February 5 as the Czech Foreign Ministry reported.

“Due to the unfavorable development of the pandemic and fear of the spread of new mutations of the coronavirus, on Friday, February 5, 2021, the new protective measure of the Health Ministry comes into force and it amends the entrance rules to the Czech Republic. Now, it is necessary to pass testing for Covid-19 before the travel to the Czech Republic from the majority of the countries,” the message said.

Besides, it is reported that the Czech government added to the zoning list with a significant spread of Covid-19 a dark red zone that includes countries with a very high risk of infection. Ukraine belongs to a dark red zone.

The citizens of such countries should pass PCR test before the arrival and stay in five-day quarantine after the arrival. The exit from quarantine is possible not earlier than five days after the passing of another PCR test.

Moreover, foreigners who arrived in the Czech Republic are obliged to wear a respirator with at least FFP2 level of protection during 10 days after the arrival.

As we reported, the Council of the EU renewed the recommendations on the restriction of the freedom of movement in the EU in terms of the Covid-19 pandemic.
