The personnel of Kyiv Department of cyber police, in cooperation with the investigators from Poltava Police exposed a hacker who spread a virus, which collected the personal and billing information, reports the website of the National Police. 

The malefactor used the leased virtual servers to remain in shade.

The police held a sanctioned search at the place of residence of the offender in Zaporizhia. The law enforcers seized computer equipment, which contained the malware. 

Currently, the officers are trying to find the people whose computers got infected with this particular virus. 

The pre-trial investigation is being carried on, initiated for development and spreading the malicious software. The offender faces up to two years of imprisonment.
