The equipment of the special customs post for the passengers of the "train of four capitals" that will connect Kyiv, Minsk, Vilnius, and Riga is almost finished at Kyiv Central Railway Station as the press service of "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported.
A new route will start its work on September 28. it is reported that the first track of Kyiv Railway Station is already equipped with "red" and "green" corridors for holding of the customs control. Also, the signs for the passengers were also placed. The customs control will take place during the movement of the train.
Earlier Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure has announced that the international train connecting Kyiv and Riga via Minsk and Vilnius will begin operating on 28 September of the current year.
As reported earlier, the tariff panel assembled by the infrastructure ministry decided to change tariffs on international passenger and freight transportation via railroads, which allow the launch of the Kyiv-Riga train.
Ukraine's MInister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan has underlined that launching the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union has become an additional impulse for the facilitation of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian bilateral trade cooperation, and thanked the Lithuanian party for its interest and attention to the process of reforming various industries of Ukraine's economy.
