Customs officers seize cocaine at amount of €1 bn in Hamburg

German customs officers seized the largest in the country's story shipment of drugs, 4.5 tons of cocaine worth €1 billion. This was reported by BBC.

It is mentioned that the drugs should have been transported from Uruguay to Belgium. According to the documents, intruders named the shipment as soya beans. During the check the officers found 200 black sports bags. 4.5 tons of the drugs were assessed in €1 billion. 

The officials report that the drugs have already been destroyed.

They also noted that such big shipments of cocaine show that South American drug dealers are becoming bolder.

As we reported earlier, the workers of the Security Service of Ukraine blocked the smuggling and sales of cocaine in Kyiv. According to the report, a man from Donetsk, who was temporarily living in Kyiv, organized an illegal transfer of drugs from abroad for sale. The culprit exploited the received "product" through an extensive network of dealers in Kyiv region.
