The situation with the coronavirus in Croatia has stabilized. That is why the authorities have announced the start of the tourist season: last weekend, 133 hotels and 65 campsites successfully opened, CroatiaWeek reports.
Today, on May 25, the Croatian National Tourism Council announced the launch of targeted advertising campaigns in key markets that are set to attract holidaymakers. According to the plan, almost all hotels will open in June.
"A good epidemiological situation is the basis for achieving results this year and we are among the best in Europe in that regard. We must use that to the maximum in the period ahead," Veljko Ostojic, the director of the Croatian Tourism Association, stated.
As we reported earlier, Montenegro has become the first country in Europe that was able to overcome the coronavirus epidemic: a few weeks in a row, there is no observation of new infection cases and all patients recovered.
“In 68 days after the first registered case, Montenegro has no Covid-19 currently,” the message said.
