Novooleksiivka village, Kherson region, southern Ukraine, will host the class where the language of study will be Crimean Tatar. Borys Babin, the permanent representative of Ukraine’s President in Crimea, said this as quoted by Krym. Realii.
‘This is the first school class in the mainland Ukraine where the language of study is Crimean Tatar,’ Babin said.
It is worth noticing that a major Crimean Tatar community resides in the southern part of Kherson region, which border the Russian-annexed peninsula.
