The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea intends to launch the register of facts of repression in the occupied Crimea. This was stated by Deputy Prosecutor in Crimea Oleg Horsunenko, informs Interfax-Ukraine.
"The registry on the facts of violations of the rights and freedoms of citizens of Crimea will start working next week. There will be all that we have about a hundred facts of illegal searches, detentions and subsequent persecution of our citizens on the peninsula", said Oleg Horsunenko.
He noted that since 2014 the Autonomous Republic of Crimea prosecution bodies registered 120 criminal cases.
According to Oleg Horsunenko, the registry will contain a variety of information related to the violation of the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as information on the persons involved in the illegal detention and conviction of Ukrainian citizens.
