There are 20,475 people with Covid-19 in hospitals throughout Ukraine

Oleksandrivska clinical hospital in Kyiv, which, in particular, treats patients with Covid-19, is almost 100% full. The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov told about it at a briefing.

"In total, the hospital has 430 beds for patients with Covid-19. Today there are 423 people. In the intensive care unit, out of 55 beds, 54 are occupied. Almost 100% occupancy this morning," Stepanov said.

According to Stepanov, as of October 15, 20,475 people are in hospitals with Covid-19 across Ukraine.

As we reported earlier, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the occupancy of hospitals for patients with Covid-19 exceeded 90%.

Today, October 15, 5,062 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Ukraine over the last 24 hours. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 281,239 people have been diagnosed with the disease: 5,302 have died (+73 per day), 119,650 (+951) have managed to recover.
