As of December 31, the occupancy rate of hospitals dedicated to the treatment of patients with coronavirus is 36.3%. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

So, according to data, more than half of hospital beds are occupied only in one region – Mykolaiv region (50,2%).

At the same time, the incidence of coronavirus continues to decline in the country, but it exceeds the norm by more than eight times.

As of now, this indicator makes 323,7 (the norm is at 40). The worst situation is observed in Zaporizhia region - 559,3. Speaking of Kyiv, the incidence rate in the city is 499.1.

As we reported earlier, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the state authorities intend to start mass vaccination against coronavirus in a short time.

"In a short time, we will start a large-scale state vaccination program. We really need to protect the most "vulnerable" social groups, and the state will definitely fulfill this task," the statement said.

First baches of the Covid-19 vaccine will be supplied by Sinovac Biotech.
