In Ukraine, the occupancy rate of hospital beds for patients with Covid-19 is already 44%. This was stated by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov at a briefing.
"If we talk about the number of occupied beds, as of now - this figure is 44%," Stepanov said.
He reminded that about 36,000 hospital beds had been allocated for coronavirus-infected people across the country.
As we reported earlier, about 3,000 Covid-19 cases daily are expected in Ukraine at the end of September – beginning of October.
“Today, we have from 2,000 up to 2,500 infection cases daily. According to the calculations and predictions, at the end of September – the beginning of October this number will grow up to 3,000 infected daily. It will load the hospitals for over 80%,” Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said.
2,430 new cases have been reported over the last 24 hours. The highest daily morbidity has been observed - +54 per day.
On September 1, Ukraine entered the TOP5 countries of Europe with the largest daily growth of coronavirus infection.
