As we reported earlier, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that the situation with Covid-19 in Ukraine was tense due to the overall number of infected people.

"The situation remains quite tense. The number of patients is increasing, and as a result, the overall number of people taken to our hospitals is growing," he noted.

The official believes that the introduction of a total lockdown could reduce the number of coronavirus cases in Ukraine to zero.
