CovidUkraine: Hospital occupancy exceeds 90% in Donetsk and Luhansk regions

In Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the occupancy of hospitals for patients with Covid-19 exceeded 90%. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

So, as of October 11, 95.4% of hospital beds are occupied in Donetsk region, 93% - in Luhansk region.

Now about 37,000 hospital beds for Covid-19 patients are allocated in Ukraine. The Ministry of Health announced that it plans to increase the number of hospital beds to 51,000.

Kyiv, Odesa, and Mariupol are preparing to deploy additional large hospitals for patients with Covid-19 in case of an overload of hospitals in the first and second waves of the coronavirus epidemic.
