Today Ukrainian medics reported 3,144 new cases of the coronavirus infection, which is a new anti-record in terms of Covid-19 incidence.

Most of the cases were observed in Kyiv (404), Ternopil region (302), and Odesa region (283).

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that the current coronavirus pandemic is not the last one and the countries should be better prepared for the next one.

“This will not be the last pandemic. History teaches us that outbreaks and pandemics are a fact of life. But when the next pandemic comes, the world must be ready – more ready than it was this time,” WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated.
