Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 7,177 new cases of Covid-19, including 364 children and 203 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

1,866 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 192 patients deceased and 5,595 recovered. 75,596 tests have been taken.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 3,696,468 people have contracted the disease, 3,506,509 have overcome it, 97,088 have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, Ukraine introduces a booster vaccination against Covid-19 for citizens over 18 years of age who have completed a full course of immunization as Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko reported on Facebook.

"Signed an order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the introduction of a booster dose of vaccine against Covid-19 for all vaccinated from 18 years old, regardless of which vaccine they were vaccinated with," the Minister said.

According to him, the booster dose should enhance the effectiveness of the vaccine and give better protection against the new Omicron strain.
