As we reported earlier, Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Lekhim, the partner of Sinovac Biotech company, asked the Ukrainian government to let it delay the supply of the first batches of the Chinese vaccine.

The postponement is caused by the company's problems with obtaining the export license from the Chinese government and the Ukrainian Parliament's late approval of the law on the registration of vaccines.

"This resulted in the delay of the approval of the schedule of supplies between Lekhim and Sinovac Biotech, and re-scheduling the deadline of the vaccine supply in Ukraine," reads the message.
