As of October 6, 234,584 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours, 4,348 people have been diagnosed with the disease. This was reported on the website of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
A total of 4,520 people (+90) have already died in the country as a result of complications caused by the disease, but 103,401 patients (+2,149) have managed to recover.
The highest number of cases per day has been recorded in the Kharkiv region - 487, Kyiv - 356, and Poltava region – 305.
As we reported earlier, the latest statistics showcase that restrictive measures imposed in the regions of Ukraine are giving positive results, and the dynamics of Covid-19 incidence in the cities that are currently assigned to the "red" zones are decreasing.
