Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (95,) Mykolaiv (26), Lviv (23), Dnipropetrovsk (22) and Zaporizhia (22) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,229,846 people have contracted the disease, 2,152,140 have overcome it, 52,032 have succumbed to it.
Meanwhile, Australian researchers have begun clinical trials of a new type of Covid-19 vaccine in the form of a nasal spray.
The study was approved by an independent ethics committee. The nasal spray will be available in a year or two.
As noted by the representative of the Nucleus Network (Brisbane), Dr. Paul Griffin, the new vaccine may be more effective than AstraZeneca and Pfizer. In addition, many people who are afraid of injections will be able to decide on vaccination.
