Ukraine is getting prepared for the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 3,096 new cases of Covid-19, including 144 children and 55 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

1,309 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 156 patients deceased, and 10,199 recovered. 16,097 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (377), Dnipropetrovsk (261), Lviv (231), Kyiv (197) and Zaporizhia (170) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,199,769 people have contracted the disease, 2,030,415 have overcome it, 50,388 - have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, Israel banned entrance to the country for the citizens of a number of countries, including Ukraine due to the spread of the coronavirus infection, as well as canceled earlier issued permissions for entrance as the Population and Immigration Authority reported.

“Entry to Israel is prohibited for foreign nationals (except for A1 and A5 visa holders) from the following countries: Ukraine, Ethiopia, Brazil, South Africa, India, Mexico, Turkey,” the message said.
