159,702 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine

2,905 new cases of coronavirus infection have been observed in Ukraine over the last 24 hours. This is evidenced by data provided by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC).

In total, 159,702 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine: 3,264 of them died (+53), 70,810 managed to recover (+1,267).

As we reported earlier, on September 14, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported a record daily increase in the incidence of coronavirus.

As of September 13, worldwide, the number of infected people increased by 307 thousand 930 people. Of these, 94.3 thousand cases of infection were in India, 45.5 thousand in the United States, and 43.7 thousand in Brazil.

Thus, the global number of patients diagnosed with Covid-19 reached 28 million 637 thousand 952 people. At the same time, 917 thousand 417 people died from a dangerous illness.

It is worth noting that the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2021 provides for 2.6 billion hryvnias (93.1 million dollars) for the purchase of coronavirus vaccines.
