Over the last 24 hours, 2,884 new cases of coronavirus infection have been observed in Ukraine. This is evidenced by data provided by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC).
181,237 patients have been diagnosed with the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, 3,642 of them have died (+59), 79,901 have recovered (+1,717).
It is worth noting that Ukraine's Ministry of Health is considering the possibility of involving private laboratories in testing on Covid-19 at the expense of the state budget.
"We are considering involving private clinics. We are making now all the calculations. I think we will do it very soon," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov noted.
As we reported earlier, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko believes that Ukraine needs a restart after the coronavirus pandemic.
According to him, the draft state budget for 2021 envisages support for business activities and a course for economic transformation, which is necessary for recovery from the crisis caused by Covid-19.
